Red Alert Review Documents
Welcome to Turfcall

Imbalance 2000-2005.
This imbalance remains for the providers - all those who work at the sharp end -to include the horses.  Their true rights and needs remain ignored.

Dear Friends.

The following documents contain the key messages that Turfcall is bringing to public attention, namely the issues that need to be resolved in order for the future of British Horseracing to be a happy and successful one for ALL.

Turfcall has been at the forefront of highlighting the urgency of improving industry representation and recognition for horsemen/women over several years. You will see that although several of these documents were published some time ago, the current industry representatives the Jockey Club and the British
Horseracing Board have done nothing at all to rectify this dangerous situation.

Turfcall is therefore calling for a new board to work upsides both the Jockey Club and the BHB. This new body needs to be made up of experienced horsemen/women proven at the very top of this their profession. The purpose of this new board will be to uphold the rights and safety of all horsemen/women and the horses that they train and ride - both in the training areas and on the racecourses.

Turfcall aims: Step 1: To raise awareness of what exactly the problems are; Step 2: To get those responsible to fix ALL the problems, and if they continue to refuse, campaign to get them removed to be replaced by qualified specialists in this field; Step 3: To set a balanced foundation for the future to prevent the present débâcle from happening again

You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the documents on this page. You can download Acrobat Reader by clicking on the button below this line:

The advantage of the Adobe Acrobat format you see exactly the same format and quality as the original printed document.

However the file sizes, particularly for graphics files are very large (more than 1 megabyte) and the larger files (e.g. the first two files in the list) will take a few minutes to download over a normal modem connection.

We therefore recommend that you save these files to your own computer and read them from a local copy of the file on your computer rather than reading them directly from the web-site.

Reading these documents from a saved copy in a local file will save you time by ensuring that you do not have to download the files more than once.
