TURFCALL PRESS RELEASE THE ELECTION APRIL 28 2005

The Election
Is it time for a framework change ….

Accountability
Long outdated parliamentary procedures do not serve the British people in any reasonable way whatsoever.

Failed bureaucratic leadership needs eliminating in all its forms; we need to move on without that encumbrance.
Political area representation embracing ALL needs in All areas can never be servedby political personnel with no knowledge or experience of the issues within their responsibility.

Governments have little to no idea as to the needs of Farmers and those who live in the country.
This was clearly shown with the outbreak of Foot and Mouth throughout 2001. Longstanding stagnating bureaucracy caused totally unnecessary and excessive suffering to millions of animals.
Government blocking tactics and lengthy delay’s showed up the incompetent ignorance, of a long outdated failed system within the Government framework.

Used as a ‘political football’ The National Health Service sums this whole long outdated system of government in Britain up for what it actually is ineffectual.

What is going on in the multi billion pound British Horseracing Industry: Governments have taken huge revenues from British Horseracing for decades. Training thoroughbred racehorses properly is a highly skilled specialist business. Sadly most people are totally ignorant to this fact. Failed leadership within the Jockey Club betraying the sport it is supposed to be protecting, especially regarding their stewarding at race meetings, their Disciplinary and Licensing Departments, their total disregard for all those who work at the dangerous sharp end, highlights the culture of self-interest that so typifies bad management today. The British Horseracing Board seems to remain a mainly commercial venture, out of touch with the core needs of the grass root providers. The Government now states that it intends to sell the Tote to British horseracing … But the Tote does not belong to the Government.

Its time to make those framework changes and be counted to do the right thing.
